Paint Nite!

Paint A-Town
A Fundraiser for the Augusta Arts Council

Paint-A-Town was born as a creative alternative to typical social activities. Guests get to spend 2-hours creating a masterpiece. A local art instructor promotes a fun, casual atmosphere and provides guidance to budding Picassos as they paint, sip cocktails, and converse with the rest of the group. No need to break out the easel, all supplies are provided so guests can focus on a night of fun and creativity.

Dorothy, with the help of Glinda the Good Witch, Scarecrow, Tinman, and the Lion, must defeat the Witch of the West so that the Wizard will help her get back home to Kansas. With much audience participation, young audiences become part of the show as the Munchkins and the poppies, helping Dorothy find the land of Oz down the yellow brick road.

Special Sensory Showing of The Secret Life of Pets

Going to see movies in theaters can be very stressful for children with autism/special needs and their families. Sights, sounds, and smells can be overstimulating and can lead to what people perceive as "temper tantrums" when in fact children may be experiencing sensory overload. That's why the Augusta Historic Theatre is hosting a special showing of Finding Dory for children with special needs. JOIN US...RELAX...HAVE FUN!
